Berkeley, Protests and Prom
Everyday I went to class in Berkeley, there was a protest more or less. They always ran the gamut from “impeach Bush” to Palestine to “Free Mumia,” a classic in the Berkley protesters’ repertoire. this was a rather bizarre austrian christmas tradition we ran into during my birthday dinner. they were collecting money for something. there was a saint nicholas talking, angels collecting money and monster things that smelled like the new york metro in july, nasty.

High School DJ Club
In high school we were members of the “DJ club,” which meant we played music at lunch. Eventually the founders graduated and we inherited the club. We got a new system, tons of CDs and started DJing cafeteria dances. It was the shit.
